Even though there was heavy rain down in the city I still decided to make the trip up into the mtns and I am very glad I did. Big Cottonwood Canyon is a breathtaking place with many Aspens and steep cliffs. About half way up the rain started to slow and turn into very wet snow. Unfortunately the snow did not stick but I was still able to capture some great images with the clouds rolling over the trees.
