shades of the night

After a 5+ hr drive through the hectic bay area traffic on a Friday evening, I finally had arrived. I stepped out of the car and looked up to the sky to see hundreds of stars. The space between the Tahoe pines, moon and night sky was a wonderful way to start my solo weekend in the winter cabin.
